The Lord Botetourt girls will try to finish up the regular softball season on a high note this week and they have plenty of notes to work with. LB will play four games in as many days, beginning Tuesday.

The girls were home to William Byrd on Tuesday, followed by a game against Salem today at Salem’s James I. Moyer Complex. On Thursday, LB is at William Fleming, and a busy stretch ends Friday with a jayvee-varsity doubleheader at Staunton River, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s game with Byrd ended a stretch of 10 straight days without a game for the Cavaliers. Botetourt comes into the week at 12-2 and the Cavaliers will get a high seed for next week’s Conference 31 tournament.
