Attic youth’s ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ musical opens this weekend

Seth Spickard as the prince, gives a medallion to Snow White, Sydney Ogle, and she promises to keep it forever in Attic Production’s youth bring the musical “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” to the stage this week.

Come take a trip to the forest home of the dwarfs to escape an evil queen with the youth ensemble at Attic Productions when it presents “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 2, 3, 9 and 10.

The musical is adapted by Tim Kelly from the tales of the Brothers Grimm and will be presented at the D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center near Fincastle with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m. along with Saturday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Doors to the auditorium open for seating 30 minutes prior to performance time.

This is a delightful version of the fairytale with many of the familiar characters from the story making an appearance, and is great for children of all ages, according to Attic Productions.

The theater is located at 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle. This is a general admission show, and all tickets are $8 at the box office.
